Frank Ocean Songwriter Can't Duck Suit Over Producer Credit
A California judge on Wednesday refused to toss contract and fraud claims in a suit alleging songwriter Malay robbed another writer of credit for Frank Ocean's hit song "Lost," finding whether they had a valid oral agreement could not be decided at this stage of the litigation.

Frank Ocean and songwriter James Ryan Ho — known by the stage name Malay — were hit with a copyright infringement suit Wednesday by a songwriter who claims he was robbed of credit for his alleged work on a song that ended up in Ocean's Grammy-winning album "Channel Orange."
