Google Must Defend Call-Recording Suit In State Court
A putative class action alleging that Google and TeleTech Services Corp. recorded customer service phone calls without consent will be argued in state court, a California federal judge ruled Friday, citing a "local controversy" exception to what would otherwise be federal jurisdiction.
