A California federal judge on Wednesday handed wins to Google, YouTube, Facebook, VMWare and EMC Corp. in a long-running dispute with PersonalWeb over its data processing systems patents, holding that the patents are invalid and PersonalWeb therefore can't go after the companies for infringement.
