HP Dismisses Suit Over Patent Holder's Wi-Fi Ligitation Blitz
Hewlett-Packard Co. on Tuesday voluntarily dismissed with prejudice its lawsuit against so-called patent troll Innovative Wireless Solutions over a slew of infringement suits IWS filed earlier this year in Texas against hotel and coffee shop chains that use HP's wireless routers, according to court records.

Cisco, HP Sue Patent Holder Over Wi-Fi Litigation Blitz
Cisco Systems Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co. went to court Wednesday on behalf of their customers, filing separate lawsuits against a so-called patent troll that lodged dozens of infringement suits earlier this year against hotel and coffee chains that offer Wi-Fi Internet access.
