Chase Looks To Sink Suit Over Lost Credit Card Balances
JPMorgan Chase & Co. on Tuesday asked a New York federal judge to toss a proposed class action accusing its Chase Bank USA NA unit of violating cardmember agreements by eliminating balances of customers who overpaid, arguing the plaintiff can't sue because he was refunded the money he lost months before the suit was filed.
