PVF Capital Dodges Investor Class Action Over $106M Merger
An Ohio federal judge on Monday tossed a proposed class action challenging PVF Capital Corp.'s $106 million all-stock merger with FNB Corp., finding the complaint, which accused the PVF Capital board of omitting material information in its U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings, didn't meet the necessary pleading standards.

PVF Capital Hit With Shareholder Suit Over $106M Merger
A shareholder of PVF Capital Corp. hit the company with a putative class action in Ohio federal court on Wednesday, challenging a $106 million transaction under which FNB Corp. would acquire all of the outstanding shares of PVF in an all-stock transaction.
