    Check Co. Certegy To Pay FTC 2nd-Largest FCRA Penalty

    Certegy Check Services has agreed to settle allegations it violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by paying the Federal Trade Commission $3.5 million, the second largest penalty ever in an FCRA suit, the agency said Thursday.
