Amy's Kitchen Cane Juice Suit Revived, Paused For FDA Input
A putative class action accusing popular natural foods company Amy's Kitchen Inc. of misleading customers by labeling sugar as evaporated cane juice on its products was brought back to life by a California federal judge on Monday in a finding that puts the ruling on hold until the U.S. Food and Drug Administration weighs in.

A federal judge on Monday tossed a proposed class action accusing Amy's Kitchen Inc. of deceiving consumers by labeling its products as containing evaporated cane juice instead of sugar, finding the plaintiff failed to allege he actually read the ingredients before purchasing the products.
