9th Circ. Won't Revive Netflix Antitrust Suit
The Ninth Circuit refused on Friday to revive antitrust multidistrict litigation from Netflix Inc. subscribers claiming the company plotted with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to corner the online DVD sales and rental markets but upheld a $27 million settlement Wal-Mart reached with the plaintiffs in the case.

Netflix-Walmart Deal Hurt Competition, 9th Circ. Hears
Netflix Inc. subscribers urged the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to revive their antitrust multidistrict litigation accusing Netflix of conspiring with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to corner the online DVD sales and rental markets, arguing that a lower court ignored evidence they were harmed by the alleged conspiracy.
