8th Circ. Allows Disciplinary Action Against Ark. Judge
The Eighth Circuit on Thursday refused to revive a controversial judge's bid for an injunction blocking the Arkansas Disciplinary and Disability Commission from disciplining him, agreeing his claims were improperly brought under federal law and that the commission had prosecutorial immunity from damages.
