EEOC Fights To Nix Fee Award From Tossed Propak Bias Suit
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission urged the Fourth Circuit Tuesday to overturn a $189,000 attorneys' fee award against the agency in a class action that accused Propak Logistics Inc. of refusing to hire non-Hispanics and was thrown out due to "unreasonable delay" on the EEOC's part.
