DOJ Admits It Misled 9th Circ. In FBI Letter Suit
Attorneys for the U.S. Department of Justice have acknowledged that they misled a Ninth Circuit panel by saying that a technology company that receives national security letters from the FBI to requisition user information may publicly disclose "the quality" of those requests, according to court records made public Wednesday.
