SunTrust Can't Shake Homeowner Loan Modification Suit
A Virginia federal judge on Thursday declined to dismiss a proposed class action accusing SunTrust Mortgage Inc. of breaching a temporary mortgage modification agreement by taking regular monthly payments and then failing to properly credit the plaintiff's account, but limited the claims after finding that the parties didn't have a written contract.
