Pasteur Gene Targeting Patents Are Valid, Fed. Circ. Told
French nonprofit research organization the Pasteur Institute asked the Federal Circuit on Monday to toss a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ruling that gutted three of its gene targeting patents, saying the office erred in finding the patents invalid due to obviousness.
