Judge Dismisses RICO Claims Against 'Patent Troll' Lumen
A New York federal judge on Monday tossed FindTheBest.com's racketeering claims against Lumen View Technology LLC, which FTB had called a patent troll trying to extort licensing fees, ruling that it had not properly pled predicate acts for racketeering.

'Troll' Hit With RICO Suit Asks Court To Silence Accuser
A so-called patent troll sued for extortion by FindTheBest.com, a company it accused of infringement, fired back Tuesday by asking a New York federal court to bar the website's operators from publicly discussing the settlement they were offered and remove all references to it from the Internet.

California-based decision engine FindTheBest.com launched a suit in New York federal court Monday accusing so-called patent troll Lumen View Technology LLC and related parties of violating the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and state laws.
