3rd Circ. Sets Precedent On Suppression Appeals
In a precedent-setting opinion, the Third Circuit on Thursday ruled that parties must raise a suppression argument at trial in order for it to be preserved on appeal, shooting down an attempt in a Philadelphia criminal case to raise a new argument on appeal based only on the broader issue raised at trial.
