LG, Sears Shed Class Action Over Defective Washers
A California federal court on Tuesday dismissed a putative class action accusing LG Electronics USA Inc. and Sears Holdings Corp. of manufacturing and selling defective washing machines that fall apart at high speeds, saying the suit failed to show the companies had breached their warranties.
