    Fed. Circ. Nixes Stryker's Hospital Bed Patent Win

    The Federal Circuit on Friday reversed a finding that Stryker Corp. hadn't infringed on three of Hill-Rom Services Inc.'s hospital bed system patents, ruling that the lower court based its noninfringement decision on erroneous claims constructions, such as incorrectly limiting the term "datalink" to cables.

    The Federal Circuit on Monday grappled with whether a lower court erred in excluding wireless technology from its construction of the term "datalink" in a patent suit brought by Hill-Rom Services Inc. accusing rival Stryker Corp. of infringing a 1997 hospital bed patent.
