Warrantless GPS Tracking OK Pre-Jones, 11th Circ. Rules
Applying case law overruled by the U.S. Supreme Court's Jones decision, the Eleventh Circuit on Tuesday declined to suppress evidence from a GPS device installed on a vehicle, saying that police acted on a good faith belief that warrantless locational tracking does not offend the Fourth Amendment.
