Pfizer Hit With Suit Claiming Lipitor Caused Diabetes
Pfizer Inc. was sued Tuesday by a Louisiana woman claiming she developed Type 2 diabetes after taking Pfizer's blockbuster cholesterol treatment Lipitor for roughly a decade starting in the late 1990s and that the drug giant fraudulently hid Lipitor's potential link to blood sugar levels until 2012.
