Roche's Boniva Patents Are Obvious, Fed. Circ. Affirms
The Federal Circuit on Friday upheld a lower court's decision invalidating two patents owned by Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. for the osteoporosis drug Boniva, ruling that they would be obvious in view of prior art in a victory for several generics makers.
