Ex-Genova Burns Client Fights To Keep $90M RICO Suit Alive
A onetime owner of foreclosed-on properties suing Valley National Bancorp and Genova Burns Giantomasi Webster LLC for allegedly defrauding real estate borrowers on Wednesday told a New Jersey federal court that his $90 million racketeering and bribery claims were not laid to rest in earlier state court and bankruptcy proceedings.

Valley National Bancorp, its top brass and the law firm Genova Burns Giantomasi Webster LLC were hit with a $90 million racketeering suit in New Jersey federal court Tuesday alleging they ran a decadelong scheme to take advantage of mortgage borrowers and profit off of foreclosed properties.
