Tuesday Morning PAGA Wage Settlement OK'd On Second Try
A California federal judge on Thursday signed off on a revised settlement between retailer Tuesday Morning and a class of employees in an unpaid wages suit, saying a $30,000 increase in a $780,000 deal will cover the release of all claims.

A California federal judge on Friday rejected discount retailer Tuesday Morning Inc.'s agreement to pay $750,000 to end an unpaid wages class action, saying that the retailer may be getting a bargain by settling claims for a fraction of a percentage of the claims' maximum value.

Tuesday Morning To Pay $750K To Settle Rest Break Suit
A group of Tuesday Morning Inc. employees who said that the discount retailer denied them breaks, in violation of California law, asked a federal court on Thursday to approve a settlement agreement for $749,500, a fraction of the damages they originally sought.
