FTC Resolves Claims Over 'Cancer-Detecting' Apps
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has settled its claims against the sole remaining defendant in its case accusing a number of marketers of making bogus claims that apps made for mobile devices could detect potentially cancerous moles, according to a stipulation filed Wednesday in Illinois federal court.
