Virgin Islands Says PDVSA's $3.8B Tax Assessment Is Timely
The Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue told a federal court Wednesday that a deficiency notice issued to a Virgin Islands subsidiary of Petroleos de Venezuela SA for nearly $3.8 billion in taxes and penalties from the company's joint venture with a Hess Corp. subsidiary shouldn't be disallowed as untimely.
