Several major video game publishers including Activision Blizzard Inc., Electronic Arts Inc. and 2K Sports Inc. pushed the Delaware federal court Monday to throw out a patent lawsuit from technology incubator Acceleration Bay LLC that targets their most popular franchises, arguing the company doesn't have the right to sue.

EA Faces Patent Suit Over Multiplayer Gaming
Technology incubator Acceleration Bay LLC sued Electronic Arts Inc. Monday in Delaware federal court for allegedly infringing on six patents in its multiplayer video games, including FIFA 15, NHL 15 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14.
