Lender To Pay $3.3M For Military Debt Collection Practices
The Consumer Financial Bureau on Wednesday announced a settlement with an Ohio-based automobile lender accused of using threats to collect on debts of military service members, with the lender being required to pay $2.28 million to service members and other customers, along with a $1 million penalty.
