Judge Shaves Attys' Fees In Rita's Ice TCPA Settlement

LLC, an amount the judge determined after performing an analysis of class counsel's fee request.

The attorneys for a group of consumers who reached a $3 million settlement in connection with allegations that Rita's Italian Ice allegedly sent them unwanted automated text messages asked a Pennsylvania federal judge on Friday to sign off on apportioning them $1 million in fees, saying it is consistent with awards in comparable cases.
