An Internet marketing firm that Google Inc. had accused of false advertising and trademark infringement agreed to be permanently prohibited from using Google's trademarks in a misleading manner in its sales calls, according to an order handed down Friday by a California federal judge.

Google Inc. filed a trademark infringement suit in California federal court on Wednesday accusing an Internet marketing firm of falsely advertising its relationship with the search giant in its service and promotional calls, which Google says is damaging its brand.
