AT&T Services Inc. asked a California judge Monday to dismiss a lawsuit alleging AT&T concealed its future plans in order to persuade a small television programming network to leave a proposed clause out of a contract between the companies, saying the network's lawsuit is unsupported and arguing the network sued because it became dissatisfied after agreeing to the deal.

AT&T Sued Over TV Subscribers Lost After DirecTV Merger
AT&T Inc. broke its carriage agreement with a small TV-programming network by migrating AT&T subscribers to DirecTV after merging with the satellite TV provider, which does not carry the network's channels, according to a suit filed in California federal court Wednesday.
