Law360, New York (May 19, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- AT&T Corp.’s Michigan subsidiary has been hit with a proposed wage-and-hour class action alleging it misclassified outside plant engineers as exempt from overtime pay under state and federal labor laws.
A group of 11 current and former employees filed suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan against Detroit-based Michigan Bell Telephone Co., one of the telecommunications giant’s operating subsidiaries.
