Class Cert. Bid Nixed In Conoco FMLA Case

Law360, New York (June 24, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has shot down a class certification bid by a group of ConocoPhillips Co. employees who claim the company's attendance and leave policies violate the Family and Medical Leave Act, ruling the plaintiffs failed to meet their burden of proof that they are adequate class representatives.
