Insurers Off Hook For Avent Baby Bottle Defense

Law360, New York (September 01, 2009, 4:58 PM ET) -- A federal judge has ruled that Medmarc Casualty Insurance Co. Inc., State Farm Fire and Casualty Co. and Pennsylvania General Insurance Co. are not responsible for covering defense costs for Avent America Inc. in a consolidated class action accusing the company of failing to warn consumers that it had used toxic chemicals in its baby bottles.
