Two More Suits Added To Antitrust Case Against Insurer

Law360, New York (October 27, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Two class action suits filed against insurance broker Marsh & McLennan Cos.Inc. have been combined with a third, creating another massive antitrust class action alleging the company illegally conspired to set prices.

The first suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, names more than 20 insurance companies from across the country, including Marsh & McLennan Co., American International Group, St. Paul Travelers Group and Cigna.
