Law360, New York (January 08, 2010, 5:33 PM ET) -- Finding that the opinions of the plaintiffs' expert witness are unreliable, the judge overseeing a suit against Chevron USA Inc. over contamination and illnesses allegedly caused by a refinery in Ohio has excluded the expert's testimony and thrown out the case.
Judge Sandra Beckwith of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio on Wednesday granted Chevron's motion to exclude the testimony of Dr. James Dahlgren, a professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
