Law360, New York (January 08, 2010, 1:32 PM ET) -- A judge has handed a win to cable TV customers accusing Comcast Corp. of illegally establishing a monopoly in the Philadelphia area, recertifying a class after Comcast invoked a 2008 appeals court ruling to get the court to reconsider its initial decision to grant certification.
Judge John R. Padova of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania issued an 81-page memorandum and order on Thursday granting the plaintiffs' April 15 amended motion for class certification.
