Law360, New York (February 05, 2010, 1:03 PM ET) -- Four Florida satellite technicians have filed a putative breach of contract and Fair Labor Standards Act class action claiming contractor MasTec Inc. failed to pay them overtime wages and commissions.
The lawsuit, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida by named plaintiffs Alain Lopez, Miguel Lozano, Joel Fernandez and Jesus Fernandez, says the Coral Gables, Fla.-based communications industry contractor failed to pay proper wages dating as far back as 2006.
