EEOC Hits Ill. Restaurant With Sex Harassment Suit

Law360, New York (September 24, 2010, 4:31 PM ET) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has hit Levidion Inc., owner of Barnhouse Restaurant in Illinois, with a class action alleging that female employees at Barnhouse were sexually harassed, and then fired after they complained about it.

The agency filed a complaint Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois on behalf of a class of female restaurant workers under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title I of the Civil Rights Act of 1991.
