Conditional Cert. OK'd In Lopez Foods Don, Doff Suit

Law360, New York (October 15, 2010, 3:05 PM ET) -- The judge overseeing a suit accusing meat-processing company Lopez Foods Inc. of failing to properly compensate workers for time spent donning and doffing safety gear has conditionally certified a class.

Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma on Thursday granted a joint motion by Lopez Foods and the plaintiff to certify a class of all current and former production and sanitation employees who have worked at Lopez's Oklahoma City facility over the past three years.
