Law360, New York (October 22, 2010, 1:52 PM ET) -- Defense contractor Xe Services LLC, formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide, has been hit with another Fair Labor Standards Act class action alleging the company misclassified firearms and tactics instructors as exempt employees to avoid paying them overtime compensation.
In an amended complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, five instructors, suing on behalf of all similarly suited employees, accused Xe Services officers of misleading them to believe that they were not entitled to overtime pay.
