EVA, Others Lose Bid To Leave Cargo Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, New York (November 02, 2010, 4:49 PM ET) -- EVA Airways Corp., China Airlines Ltd., Malaysia Airlines and Air India have lost their bids to throw out claims against them in broad-reaching multidistrict litigation alleging more than two dozen air cargo carriers conspired to fix shipping prices.

Judge John Gleeson said Monday he would adopt the “thorough and well-reasoned” report and recommendations of Magistrate Judge Viktor V. Pohorelsky and deny the motions to dismiss in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
