Law360, New York (January 07, 2011, 4:28 PM ET) -- A federal judge has preliminarily signed off on a $6.2 million settlement resolving claims that Weight Watchers North America Inc. did not properly compensate a class of more than 4,000 employees in California.
Judge Thelton E. Henderson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday granted preliminary approval to a settlement between Weight Watchers and California employees who worked as so-called leaders or receptionists or who performed location coordinator work.
