Law360, New York (February 18, 2011, 9:36 PM ET) -- Former Xe Services LLC firearm and tactic instructors have obtained conditional class certification in a lawsuit accusing the security contractor formerly known as Blackwater Worldwide of failing to pay proper overtime wages.
Judge James C. Deaver III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina granted the parties' consent motion for conditional certification Wednesday. The judge also ordered that the case, Falla v. Xe Services, be simultaneously mediated with a similar case, Williams v. Xe Services.
