Law360, New York (March 30, 2011, 1:28 PM ET) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Monday refused Chrysler Group LLC's bid to dismiss a putative class action over warranties for allegedly defective brakes in its Journey vehicle, but did agree to toss three of the five claims.
Judge Dennis M. Cavanaugh of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissed claims for violations of California's Unfair Competition Law and New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act, as well as for breach of express warranty.
