Leggett & Platt To Turn Over Docs In Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, Los Angeles (September 28, 2011, 4:48 PM ET) -- A Kansas federal judge on Tuesday ordered Leggett & Platt Inc. to hand over telephone records and expense reports that its opponents in a multidistrict litigation say may implicate Leggett in a wide-ranging scheme to fix prices on flexible polyurethane foam.

Magistrate Judge James P. O’Hara ruled that Leggett must comply with a discovery request filed by defendants Huntsman International LLC, Dow Chemical Co. and BASF Corp., despite the foam manufacturer's objections that the documents weren't relevant to discovery requests.
