Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 7:31 PM ET) -- Three airlines defending multidistrict litigation over a 2009 airplane crash near Buffalo, N.Y., that killed 50 people won access Tuesday to information about one of the victims who they say may not have lived in the U.S. at the time of the crash.
U.S. District Court Judge William M. Skretny said Colgan Air Inc., Pinnacle Airlines Corp. and Continental Airlines Inc. can obtain medical, financial, educational and insurance records, as well as some personal electronic communications, of crash victim Shibin Yao.
