High Court Won't Weigh In On Applebee's Tip Pay Case

Law360, New York (January 17, 2012, 3:53 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to review whether tipped employees were entitled to minimum wage when performing nontipped tasks, keeping in place an Eighth Circuit ruling that Applebee’s International Inc. had violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by underpaying a class of servers.
