Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 3:28 PM ET) -- Monsanto Research Corp. and a fellow ex-operator of the Mound Laboratory nuclear weapons facility have failed to decertify a class of Ohio residents claiming that radioactive emissions from the research facility lowered property values, an order posted Friday said.
An Ohio federal court shot down the second attempt by Monsanto and EG&G Mound Applied Technologies Inc. to overturn a 1993 order conditionally certifying a class of property owners within five miles from the U.S. Department of Energy's Mound nuclear weapons facility.
