JPML Won't Tie Up Fairbank, Greater Omaha E. Coli Suits

Law360, Chicago (April 18, 2012, 1:25 PM ET) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on Tuesday declined to centralize in Maine three lawsuits alleging Fairbank Reconstruction Corp. and Greater Omaha Packing Co. Inc. are liable for contaminated ground beef that caused an E. coli outbreak in 2009.
