Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 4:03 PM ET) -- A group of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. cashiers in Texas on Friday resolved their class action accusing the retail giant of failing to pay them appropriate overtime wages, agreeing on a settlement amount of more than $2 million.
The plaintiffs submitted a motion to approve the settlement to U.S. District Judge Kenneth M. Hoyt. They said the resolution is preferable to the expenses and time associated with continued litigation.
